The State Election Commission of Madhya Pradesh


The Constitution of India vests in the State Election Commission, consisting of a State Election Commissioner, the superintendence, direction and control of the preparation of electoral rolls for, and the conduct of all elections to the Panchayats (Gram panchayat, Janpad panchayat Jila panchayat ) and the Municipalities( Nagar nigam Narpalika parisad  Nagar Panchyat)  (Articles 243K,  243ZA). The State Election Commissioner is appointed by the Governor.



The Madhya Pradesh State Election Commission was constituted vide the notification dated February 1,1994 issued by the General Administration Department of the State Government. It came into existence on Feburary 15, 1994 with the assumption of office by the first State Election Commissioner.



As per article 243(C3) the Governor, when so requested by the State Election Commission, make available to the State Election Commission such staff as may be necessary for the discharge of the functions conferred on the SEC by clause (1).

Vision

Promote measures for strengthening the environment for free and fair elections in Madhya Pradesh

Mission

Officers and staff of Madhya Pradesh State Election Commission resolve that we shall,

  • Strengthen our competencies in all legal and managerial aspects of elections,
  • Implement measures for the use of GIS and expand the use of IT applications in the elections; and
  • Expand the use of information technology in inter and intra-office applications.

 

The State Election Commissioner is appointed by the Governor.

संघ लोक सेवा आयोग  ( अंग्रेज़ी : Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) - यूनियन पब्लिक सर्विस कमीशन) ,  भारत के संविधान   द्वारा स्थापित एक संवैधानिक निकाय है जो   भारत सरकार   के लोकसेवा के पदाधिकारियों की नियुक्ति के लिए परीक्षाओं का संचालन करता है। संविधान के भाग- 14 के अंतर्गत अनुच्छेद 315-323 में एक संघीय लोक सेवा आयोग और राज्यों के लिए राज्य लोक सेवा आयोग के गठन का प्रावधान है 1919 के   भारत सरकार अधिनियम   में इस भावना की व्यावहारिक अभिव्यक्ति मिलती है। उसमें एक सार्वजनिक सेवा आयोग की स्थापना का विधान था जिसकी सेवाओं के लिये पदाधिकारियों की भर्ती , भारत की सार्वजनिक सेवाओं का नियंत्रण तथा ऐसे अन्य कर्त्तव्य होंगे जिनका निर्देश सपरिषद भारत सचिव करेंगे। परंतु उस आयोग की स्थापना तत्काल नहीं हुई। 1923 में , लॉर्ड ली के नेतृत्व में , एक रॉयल कमिशन नियुक्त हुआ , जिसको भारत उच्च सेवाओं के ऊपर विचार एवं विवरण प्रस्तुत करना था। उस कमिशन ने , अपने 27 मार्च 1924के विवरण में , तत्काल उस लोक सेवा आयोग की स्थापना की आवश्यकता पर विशेष बल दिया , जिसका 1919...

जम्मू और कश्मीर सितम्बर 2014 बाढ़

सितम्बर 2014 में , मूसलाधार मानसूनी वर्षा के कारण भारतीय राज्य   जम्मू और कश्मीर   ने अर्ध शताब्दी की सबसे भयानक बाढ़ आई भारत में मानसून   के अंतिम चरण में , जम्मू और कश्मीर और इससे लगे हुए इलाकों में 2 सितम्बर 2014 से भारी वर्षा होने लगी। इस कारण से भारत के साथ साथ पाकिस्तान में भी बाढ़ और भूस्खलन की घटनायें सामने आयीं। 5 सितम्बर को   श्रीनगर   में   झेलम नदी   का जलस्तर 22.40 फीट ( 6.83  मी॰) हो गया जो कि खतरें के निशान से 4.40 फीट ( 1.34  मी॰) अधिक है।   अनंतनाग जिले   के   संगम   में जलस्तर 33 फीट ( 10  मी॰) पहुँच गया जो कि खतरे के निशान से 12 फीट ( 3.7  मी॰) ऊपर है। चेनाब नदी   भी खतरे के निशान से ऊपर बह रही है , जिसके कारण पाकिस्तान के सैकड़ों गाँव जलमग्न हो गए। भारी वर्षा ने पाकिस्तान के गिलगित-बल्तिस्तान , कश्मीर व पंजाब प्रान्तों के कई जिलों में भारी तबाही मचाई है। 8 सितम्बर 2014 को कश्मीर घाटी में सभी जिलों में बाढ़ का प्रभाव रहा है कश्मीर घाटी   के सभी जिलों में बाढ़ का प्रभाव दि...
